FAQs
Why was RelativEase created?
The stories of difficulty and stress faced by family and friends in tracking down important and necessary information for a parent who died motivated us to create a solution.. We found a few online firms that store wills and personal information but we felt their digital solutions were expensive and required subscription and frankly were rather too complicated. That inspired us to create the simple RelativEase guide.
How were the charities chosen?
Our 5 charities were chose for their excellent reputations and span of a broad range of missions.
Can I forward the RelativEase guide to others?
Please don't. We set up RelativEase on the honesty box principle. If you email the guide to others to use themselves the charities will also miss out on donations from purchases.
How long does it take to fill in?
That's really up to you. On average it would take 1-2 hours, but you can stop and start at will, so essentially you can take as long as you like.
What if I want to change information I've recorded?
Once you have purchased the form, we suggest you save the document to your computer. It is then up to you whether you fill in the form using your keyboard or print the form and fill it in by pen (or a combination of both). If you want to make a change, you can either delete previous information or rewrite or print up a single page to change, etc. Basically, you have complete control to make as many changes as you wish, whenever you wish.
How and where should I store my completed RelativEase guide?
On the back page of the guide we suggest that you place the completed form in a large envelope and seal it. The back page also has a RelativEase label to cut out and write in your name. Tape the label on the envelope and store envelope in a place that your Next of Kin will know to look.
